Given a chord PQPQ of a circle and MM the midpoint of the chord, let ABAB and CDCD be two chords that pass through MM. ACAC and BDBD are drawn until PQPQ is intersected at points XX and YY respectively. Show that XX and YY are equidistant from MM.
