Problem Statement

Determine whether there exist two infinite point sequences A1,A2, A_1,A_2,\ldots and B1,B2, B_1,B_2,\ldots in the plane, such that for all i,j,ki,j,k with 1i<j<k 1\le i < j < k, (i) Bk B_k is on the line that passes through Ai A_i and Aj A_j if and only if k=i+j k=i+j. (ii) Ak A_k is on the line that passes through Bi B_i and Bj B_j if and only if k=i+j k=i+j. (Proposed by Gerhard Woeginger, Austria)
