Problem Statement

Let SS be the circle of center OO and radius RR, and let A,AA, A' be two diametrically opposite points in SS. Let PP be the midpoint of OAOA' and \ell a line passing through PP, different from AAAA ' and from the perpendicular on AAAA '. Let BB and CC be the intersection points of \ell with SS and let MM be the midpoint of BCBC. a) Let HH be the foot of the altitude from AA in the triangle ABCABC. Let DD be the intersection point of the line AMA'M with AHAH. Determine the locus of point DD while \ell varies . b) Line AMAM intersects ODOD at II. Prove that 2OI=ID2 OI = ID and determine the locus of point II while \ell varies .
