Problem Statement

Let CC be a closed plane curve that has a continuously turning tangent and bounds a convex region. If TT is a triangle inscribed in CC with maximum perimeter, show that the normal to CC at each vertex of TT bisects the angle of TT at that vertex. If a triangle TT has the property just described, does it necessarily have maximum perimeter? What is the situation if CC is a circle?
