Problem Statement

Consider skew lines PPPP', QQQQ' and points XX, YY lying on them, respectively. Initially, we have X=PX=P, Y=QY=Q. Both points XX, YY start moving simultaneously along the rays PPPP', QQQQ' with the speeds c1c_1, c2c_2, respectively. Show that midpoint ZZ of segment XYXY always lies on a fixed ray RRRR', where RR is midpoint of PQPQ.
