Problem Statement

Let mm and nn denote integers greater than 11, and let ν(n)\nu (n) be the number of primes less than or equal to nn. Show that if the equation nν(n)=m\frac{n}{\nu(n)}=m has a solution, then so does the equation nν(n)=m1\frac{n}{\nu(n)}=m-1.
