Problem Statement

For any point P P on a segment AB AB, isosceles and right-angled triangles AQP AQP and PRB PRB are constructed on the same side of AB AB, with AP AP and PB PB as the bases. Determine the locus of the midpoint M M of QR QR when P P describes the segment AB AB.
