Problem Statement

Let PP be an interior point of a triangle ABCABC and AP,BP,CPAP,BP,CP meet the sides BC,CA,ABBC,CA,AB in D,E,FD,E,F respectively. Show that APPD=AFFB+AEEC. \frac{AP}{PD} = \frac{AF}{FB} + \frac{AE}{EC}. [hide="Remark"]This is known as Van Aubel's Theorem.
