Problem Statement

Let us have a line ℓ\ell in the space and a point AA not lying on ℓ.\ell. For an arbitrary line ℓ′\ell' passing through AA, XYXY (YY is on ℓ′\ell') is a common perpendicular to the lines ℓ\ell and ℓ′.\ell'. Find the locus of points Y.Y.
