Problem Statement

There is a circle kk in a plane with center MM and radius rr. The following illustration, through which every point PMP \ne M., is called a “reflection on the circle kk” from ε\varepsilon a point PP' from ε\varepsilon is assigned:
(1) PP' lies on the ray emanating fromM M and passing through PP. (2) It is MPMP=r2MP \cdot MP' = r^2.
a) Construct the mirror point P P' for any given point PMP \ne M inside kk.
b) Let another circle k1k_1 be given arbitrarily, but such that MM lies outside k1k_1.Construct k1k'_1 , i.e. the set of all mirror points PP' of the points PP of k1k_1.
