Problem Statement

Given two perpendicular diameters ABAB and CDCD of an ellipse, we say that the diameter ABA'B' is conjugate to ABAB if ABA'B' is parallel to the tangent to the ellipse at AA. Let ABA'B' be conjugate to ABAB and CDC'D' be conjugate to CDCD. Prove that the rectangular hyperbola through A,B,CA', B', C' and DD' passes through the foci of the ellipse.
